Privacy policy

Short version: what you type in Untitled stays on your Mac. The app has no account, no analytics and no tracking, and this website has no cookies.

The app

• Untitled doesn't collect, send or share anything you type or open. Your text, including tabs you haven't saved, is kept only on your Mac, in your user folder at~/Library/Application Support/Untitled.
• There's no account, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising.
• The app doesn't connect to the internet. A link in your text opens in your browser only when you choose to open it.
• When automatic updates arrive, Untitled will check this website for new versions. That request shares only what any web request does (your IP address) and which version of Untitled you have. This policy will be updated before that happens.

This website

• No cookies, no analytics, no ads, and no third-party scripts or fonts.
• Like any website, the company that hosts it may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser and the page requested) for a short time, for security.

When you buy

• Purchases are handled by Dodo Payments, the merchant of record. They collect what's needed to take payment and handle tax, such as your name, email, billing country and payment details, undertheir own privacy policy. Your card details never reach us.
• We receive your name, email address, country and the details of your order, so we can deliver Untitled, help you, give refunds and keep the records that tax law requires.
• We never sell or share your information, and we don't send marketing email.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete the information we have about you, emailsupport@getuntitled.app. We'll keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as tax records of a purchase.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. If a change affects how your information is used, we'll say so clearly first.
